Warranty Policy
MICHU product support
Warranty, without the guesswork.
Eligible MICHU non-consumable products are covered by a one-year manufacturer's warranty. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law may continue beyond this policy where applicable.
From the date of purchase for eligible products.
Order details plus clear photos or video of the issue.
Repair, parts, replacement or another appropriate solution.
What is covered
Functional defects in eligible products.
The warranty applies to eligible non-consumable products, including products such as cat trees and water dispensers, when a functional defect arises during the coverage period under normal use and care.
Consumables are excluded from the manufacturer's warranty. Free items obtained through points are also excluded from this voluntary warranty.
Common exclusions
What the voluntary warranty does not cover.
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic ageing or expected deterioration through use.
- Damage caused by pets, including scratching, chewing or damage to baskets and fabrics.
- Incorrect assembly, loosened fittings, misuse, modification or failure to follow instructions.
- Accidental damage or damage caused by unsuitable storage or environment.
- Water or moisture damage to electrical or battery-powered components caused by incorrect cleaning, submersion or excessive moisture.
- Battery deterioration or reduced battery life resulting from misuse or improper maintenance.
These exclusions do not remove any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
