Warranty Policy

All Michu products (excluding consumables), such as water dispensers and cat trees, are covered under a one (1) year warranty. If you encounter any functional defects within one year of receiving the product, please let us know and we will work with you to resolve the issue. Proof of defect in the form of photos and/or videos may be required.

Warranty Terms:

Coverage Period

The warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Proof of Defect

Customers are required to provide proof of defect through photos and/or videos to initiate a warranty claim.

Exclusions

1. Standard wear and tear are not covered under this warranty.

2. For cat trees, any damage resulting from non-quality issues, such as user-induced damage, is not covered. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Damage caused by pets, such as a cat basket being scratched.
  • Structural damage from improper use, such as screws being unscrewed from the cat tree.

3. Battery-powered products:

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, such as:

  • Water or moisture damage resulting from improper cleaning or maintenance, particularly in products containing batteries. For example, damage caused by water ingress into the battery compartment due to incorrect cleaning methods, such as submerging the product in water or exposing it to excessive moisture.
  • The product's battery life is excluded from this warranty if the damage results from moisture exposure caused by improper cleaning techniques.

Resolution Method

The method of resolution is at Michu's discretion and may not result in a full replacement of the unit. Possible resolutions include repair, replacement parts, or full unit replacement depending on the severity and nature of the defect.
